We aim to create positive, caring relationships based on trust and respect, and put these aims at the forefront of everything we do. We have an ambitious vision at Starjumps to create an environment where children can learn by being active participants. We aim to give the children high quality learning experiences that uses the local environment as an extension to the nursery setting.
I – Initiative: Staff must ensure they use their initiative throughout the day to ensure the smooth running of the setting.
N – Nurturing: Staff must show a nurturing attitude towards the care of children.
S – Supportive: Staff must support one another, including seniors, as a supportive environment fosters teamwork and collaboration. This enhances the overall quality of care provided to the children. When the team feel valued and supported, they are more likely to be motivated and dedicated to their roles. Lastly, supporting staff helps in reducing stress levels and preventing burnout, as employees can rely on each other for assistance and guidance.
P – Productive: Staff must ensure they are productive throughout the day by setting up engaging and stimulating activities. During free or quiet times, staff must ensure they remain productive by planning, cleaning, completing any specific jobs allocated.
I – Inspirational: Staff should be inspirational to both the team and the children and their families. Their enthusiasm and motivation can create a stimulating and engaging environment, where children feel encouraged to explore, discover, and learn.
R – Responsible: Staff must ensure that they are taking responsibility within the setting.
E – Enthusiastic: Staff must show an enthusiastic attitude throughout the day.
